Food for Thought
When I was in the cooking phase of my media career some years ago (PBS’s Regina’s Vegetarian Table), people used to ask me how I came up with my recipes. I told them I liked to play with my food to create new and interesting dishes. In that spirit of adventure, I’m suggesting we might spend more time playing with our Food for Thought.
It’s a wonderful exercise to see where our minds simply stop, generally when we bump up against a new concept that has no previous context or framework. In these blogs, it is my desire to play with our “food for thought”…..to see if we can watch a new vision emerge as to who we are and what we’re capable of – which is an astounding level of creation, even “miracles” if we’re open minded enough.
One thought that I use as a framework for my own creations is the idea that no one is ever forced to incarnate here on Earth. I find this gives a good context for everything else – we’re here by choice, at this time and in this place. So, what is the gift we bring to this experience and to those around us? What part are we choosing to play in this Comedy, Drama, Adventure?
It’s worth looking at.
